May the 11th the yearly Develop Your World congress has been held again. This year, the theme of the congress was ‘Leaders of the future’. We focused on things that can be done NOW, to build a better future. How can we develop the world now, which choices can we make today to ensure a brighter future. Therefore, we welcomed future entrepreneurs, doctors, VN-representatives, lawyers and other leaders of the future for the 2011 congress of Develop Your World: Now, For the Future.
International students
This year there was also a possibility for international students to attend the conference Develop Your World: Now for the Future as part of the program was in English. The lecture by Rajshree Patel was for example in English. Rajshree Patel is the director of the Art of Livng, an NGO that organizes activities for businesses and young adults on the effectiveness of leadership and how this leadership in return can contribute for sustainable development. In addition, the Art of Living also provided a workshop in English. During this workshop the focus was on self development and how this can be used to contribute to make a better world for everyone.
